openSUSE 11.0

• Kontact shell shows no components; single applications work though (Bug #398807), Fix: an online-update is available
• System freeze with reiserfs and beagle. (Bug #389656). Fix: Run online update, kernel 2.6.25.9-0.2 has a fix.
• Boot does not complete on some AMD SB700 based systems (Bug #387053). Workaround: Add the argument 'nohpet' in the kernel command line from the bootloader.
• Several laptops panic when closing the lid. (Bug #378917).
• The rescue system can not be booted from net-install CD. (Bug #404459). Workaround: Add the 'insecure=1' parameter to the boot command line.
• Slowdown in desktop performance for "intel" driver users after latest X.Org updates on Mon Jul 21 2008 (Bug #411183). Workaround: Add 'Option "AccelMethod" "XAA"' to 'Section "Device"' of your /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
